Remember that baby chenille blanket I mentioned a few weeks ago? Well it’s finally finished! I was a little skeptical that it would turn out well in the end, but it did! The flannel ruffled extremely well in the wash, and is just soft as can be to the touch. I’m terrible at naming my patterns/quilts/blankets, so you’ll have to excuse the lengthy title. 🙂
Here are some pictures of the final product:
|Ruffled Back+ Front|
Since the front is all one piece, it isn’t in my usual style of quilting, but I like it. As you can see, the back ruffled nicely. To be sure, the blanket was a lot more tedious than I expected, but I think it was well worth the effort!
It measures about 42 x 42, so it would be a perfect baby blanket gift. As of now, it has not been claimed and I have no one in mind to give it to, so if you would like to purchase this lovely quilt, let me know! 😉
